FOREST (CONSERVATION) RULES – 1981

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (i) of section 4 of the Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980 (69 of 1980), the Central Government made Forest (Conservation) Rules-1981. It will be observed that the Forest (Conservation) Act and Rules are very brief and concise covering only tow pages each, but have very far-reaching implications on mining and industrial development, especially in backward areas.
