The vigorous growth in mining and minerals processing in the past decade has created wonderful career opportunities for mining, mechanical electrical and metallurgical engineers and geologists. Expansion in mining has been so rapid that for many years the manpower requirements have outstripped the available labour resources, especially in the more highly skilled categories. There is no doubt that mining will dictate the pace of economic development for many years to come.

            It has been seen that unlike other professions of engineering and sciences there is no dedicated job portal for mining and related activities.
